Cassi and Donald Hobbs, of Meeker, announce the birth of their son, Dillon Albert Hobbs, at 6:35 p.m. Aug. 31, 2006, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig.

The baby weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces and was 18 3/4 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Mark and Julie Cook, of Meeker.

Paternal grandparents are Kim and Mike Gould, of Meeker, and Kelly Hobbs, of Belen, N.M.

The baby was welcomed home by Kesston and Autumn Hobbs.
