Time out with Jeremy Bird

Sport(s): Cross country and track

Favorite sport to participate in: Cross country.

Favorite sport to watch: Football

Favorite professional sports team: Denver Broncos

Favorite college team: Duke

Hobbies: Hiking, backpacking, hunting. I like the outdoors stuff.

Most embarrassing CD and Movie you own? Rascal Flatts and the Little Mermaid.

If you could have dinner with anyone, alive or dead who would it be and why? Lance Armstrong, because he has accomplished so much in his life and overcame things and I look up to that.

What do you do when you're not at practice? Lots of things, I'm usually at home or playing paint ball or X-Box.

Favorite pre-competition meal: Chicken Parmesan.

Pre-competition rituals: I listen to a favorite song.

What motivates you? Doing good.

Who are your heroes/role models and why? My dad because he is an awesome man. I just really look up to him.

Most embarrassing sports moment? Only a couple of people know about this, but I went to take off my long shorts because I thought I had shorter ones on, but I didn't have any on.

Most memorable sports moment? Winning the 800 meter run at regionals last year.

What are your plans after high school? Going to college somewhere in Colorado and running.
