Reading has always been a favorite pastime of mine. Lately, I find I tend to fall asleep if I read for any length of time.
The subject doesn't seem to matter too much, although some are more interesting than others. With a book, a person can always stop paying attention to what it says or change pages.
Speaking of subjects, Gen Schultz has a birthday this week. Get well/speedy recovery goes out to Einar Carlson, Cleta Henderson, James Abeyta and Reba Wilson.
A meeting covering diabetes is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Meadows I. A wellness clinic is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Meadows I, and flu shots will be available from 9 to 11 a.m.
I'm glad to see more people staying for bingo at Sunset Meadows I after the Friday potluck. On Oct. 18, Barbra Pugh and Gene Bilodeau will be at Sunset Meadows I to speak about Colorado Northwestern Community College's mill levy. Come by if you're interested.
Need more news, birthdays, etc? Call or come over.
