GRAMNET nabs four
Authorities from the Greater Routt and Moffat Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested four Craig residents while executing three search warrants served over two days.
No charges have yet been filed by the 14th Judicial District Attorney's Office.
GRAMNET task force commander Dusty Schulze said investigations are continuing. Additional arrests and more charges could come from the investigation, he said.
Among the offenders arrested was Steven James Wick, one of 15 defendants taken into custody during a December 2005 methamphetamine sweep, one of the biggest drug busts in Moffat County history.
Wick, 29, of Craig, pleaded guilty in March to attempted distribution of meth, a felony, and was sentenced to three years' probation.
He was arrested over the weekend for distribution of a Schedule 2 controlled substance.
Schulze said authorities suspected that controlled substance was meth.
Arrested with Wick was Nicole Clark, a 36-year-old Craig resident, for an outstanding warrant out of Moffat County.
The other two suspects arrested were Michael Albert Camilletti Jr., 24, and Theodora Rae Travers, 19, of Craig. They, like Wick and Clark, were arrested together.
Camilletti was arrested for a parole violation, and Travers was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Schedule 2 controlled substance. Schulze said authorities suspect the substance was Ecstasy.
One of the searches was Friday night, and the other two were late Saturday night and into Sunday morning at three Craig residences, Schulze said.
Officers from the Craig and Steamboat Springs police departments, deputies from the Moffat County Sheriff's Office and Department of Corrections parole officers assisted GRAMNET with the operations.
Because the case is ongoing, Schulze could not comment on the investigation.
He said that illegal drugs, stolen property and counterfeit money were recovered during the searches.
