Lisa M. Mondeau

Lisa Marina Costa Mondeau was born March 30, 1963, in Buffalo, N.Y., to John and Odette (Triech) Costa. She was raised and attended school in the Buffalo area.
Lisa lived for several years in Italy and moved to Craig in 1992.
While in Craig, Lisa attended Colorado Northwestern Community College and received her Associate of Arts degree. She worked as a teacher's aide at Sunset Elementary School.
Lisa married David Mondeau on June 30, 1996, in Craig.
She enjoyed teaching children and knitting, and she had a strong love of animals.
Lisa died on Nov. 7, 2006, in Grand Junction.
She is survived by her husband, David Mondeau of Craig; daughters, Madelyn Attolini and Emma Attolini, both of Craig; mother, Odette Costa of Wilmington, N.Y.; father, John Costa of Richmond, Va.; and five sisters.
Memorial services were held on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, at The Lutheran Church of Grace in Craig, with the Rev. Jim Strader officiating.
