Judy Lynn Muldoon of Craig died on Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at her home in Craig following a lengthy illness. She was 48.
Judy Lynn Queen Muldoon was born on Jan. 28, 1958, in Pueblo, to Leslie and Darlene (Haslet) Queen. She was raised and attended school in Pueblo, graduating from Pueblo South High School. Judy lived in Denver for a time and moved to Craig in 1981.
Judy married Keith Muldoon on May 18, 1984, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Craig. They became the parents of two boys, Joseph and Stewart. Judy worked for the town of Hayden, and was employed at First Federal Savings and Loan in Craig, where she worked her way into the management levels of that organization. She then worked as a librarian for Sunset Elementary School.
Judy enjoyed gardening and traveling and attending Jimmy Buffet concerts.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph and Stewart, both of Craig; sister, Carol and her husband Robert Whitehead of Craig; and brother, Leslie and his wife Mari of Highlands Ranch.
She is also survived by numerous other relatives.
Her parents and her husband, Keith, preceded her in death.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at the American Legion Hall in Craig. The eulogy was given by Dean Brosious, and several of her favorite Jimmy Buffet songs were sung by Ray Cartwright. Memorial donations may be made to the chemotherapy unit at Yampa Valley Medical Center in care of Grant Mortuary.
