11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The North Colorado Home School Association has a Thanksgiving luncheon at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion. All homeschooling families are invited. Call 824-9644.
Noon to 1 p.m. "Involuntary Exposure: What You Can Do to Control and Reduce Exposure to Indoor Air Hazards" is presented in Steamboat Springs. To register, call the Colorado State University Moffat County Extension Office at 824-9180.
4 to 7 p.m. Craig Intermediate School has parent-teacher conferences at the school, 201 E. Ninth St. Report cards will be handed out.
7 p.m. The Visiting Nurse Association hosts "Getting through the holidays," a discussion seminar for coping with the loss of someone special. The VNA is located next door to The Memorial Hospital, 745 Russell St. Call Sandy at 824-8233, ext. 7682.

4 to 7 p.m. Craig Intermediate School has parent-teacher conferences at the school, 201 E. Ninth St. Report cards will be handed out.
6 to 8:30 p.m. Mothers of Preschoolers meets in the basement of Calvery Baptist Church, 1050 Yampa Ave. There will be no child care, but nursing babies are welcome. Dinner is provided. Call Kristin Allen at 826-2759.
Saturday, Nov. 18
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. St. Michael's Catholic Church hosts its annual bazaar at the church, 678 School St. The public is invited to come and enjoy the bake sale, Danish, crafts, various home-based businesses, a Mexican lunch and more. Call Vicki Conrad at 824-8847.
10 a.m. Hands-on Quilters meets at the Craig Fire Station, 419 Yampa Ave. Members will be doing a machine applique technique. Call Cheryl at 824-2567.
10 a.m. The Craig Trap Club hosts a turkey shoot at the club west of Craig on U.S. Highway 40. All shooters are welcomed to attend and shoot clay targets to try and win a turkey, ham or other prizes. Call Kent Nielson at 824-6551.
Noon to 3 p.m. Sandrock Ridge care and Rehab, 943 W. Eighth Drive, hosts a pre-holiday celebration. Events include a free turkey and ham dinner with trimmings, music by "Guitar Bob," crafts for children and gifts. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
1 to 2 p.m. SHARE Craig, a program that offers low-cost groceries to residents, has distribution day at Craig Intermediate School, 201 E. Ninth St. Call Karen at 824-7939.
Friday, Nov. 24
4 to 6 p.m. City Market, 505 W. Victory Way, hosts its second annual open house Christmas celebration. Events include photos with Santa, cookies, prizes and making candy cane reindeers. The event is free.
Saturday, Dec. 9
9 a.m. to noon The Mite Society of First Christian Church has its annual Christmas Bazaar and Bake Sale at the church fellowship Hall, 960 W. Victory Way. Items for sale include home-baked goods and crafts. Home-baked sweet rolls, coffee and tea will also be for sale.
2 p.m. The Browns Hole Homemaker's Club hosts Old-Time Christmas at Lodore Hall in Browns Park. The event is free and features Santa Claus and a free turkey dinner. Take a salad or dessert to share, and a gift for each child. Call 269-3000 or 824-2251.
