A 2006 Moffat County graduate has been accepted into the Guy T. McBride Jr. Honors program.
JoJo La, the daughter of John La and Suwang, of Craig, will earn a minor in public affairs for engineers through the program at Colorado School of Mines.
La was among 43 students selected for the program. Selection is based primarily on academic achievement, extracurricular and community activities, leadership potential, commitment to public service and communication skills.
Through the program, La will complete a practicum -- an honors thesis, an internship or study abroad experience.
