Name: Danny Griffith

Age: 47

Occupation: I run a restaurant

What should your business card say you do? Restaurant and bar owner/operator, J.W. Snack's Gulf Coast Bar & B-Que

Place of birth: Terre Haute, Ind.

When did you move to Moffat County and what brought you here? I moved here 27 years ago, to build homes during the construction boom.

Describe your morning routine. I get up, shower, walk to work. I have to get in early to load the smoker with ribs, brisket, chicken and pork.

How would your friends describe you? As the class clown.

Have you ever had a book change your life? What was it and why? I'm not much of a reader, so I can't say a certain book changed my life. I can't sit down to read, it puts me to sleep.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A drummer in a big band.

If you could invite any four people over for dinner, who would they be and what would you serve? David Gilmour, Paul McCartney and my mom and dad. I'd serve them ribs, brisket, chicken and pork.

What are the three things you can't live without? Heart, lungs and liver.

What was your most embarrassing moment? I'm usually embarrassing other people. I'm hard to embarrass, but it would probably be when I was a kid, before I was callous ... as a 13-year-old I was forced to play the drums at a Shrine circus back in Indiana, in front of 8,000 people, spur-of-the-moment. I was absolutely petrified.

Which super hero would you be? It would be fun to be Superman.

What's the worst reason you've received/given for breaking up with someone? The worst reason would be that their parents didn't like me. It was a long time ago.

If you had to give up one of your senses, which would it be? I've pretty much already given up vision and hearing, so those.

What band/performer would you stand in line to get tickets for? There's too many...Pink Floyd.

What music, book or movie are you ashamed to admit you love? "Gone with the Wind."

What would you do if you won $10 million? I would open a small business and operate it until the money was gone. If you've ever had a small business, you'll know what I'm talking about.

What do you think about the war in Iraq? I think we need to mind our own business. We shouldn't try to fix someone else's problems when we can't fix our own.
