Thanks for support in pet adoption event

To the editor:

To help celebrate Be Kind to Animals Week from May 7 to 13, the Humane Society of Moffat County had an Adopt-A-Thon on May 6.

The Humane Society would like to thank Jarrod Bell and Andy Keith and all of their employees at Murdoch's for letting us hold this event in their parking lot. Thanks to Murdoch's employees who helped us set up pens for the dogs and the canopy for the Humane Society volunteers. Thanks also to the local newspapers and radio stations for helping us promote this event. Thanks to Mickey Ford for helping transport the shelter animals. And, last but not least, thanks to all the people who showed up to see the pets and to adopt them!
