To the editor:
We would like to thank the Craig community for all the help and support during the recent illness and passing of our son and brother, Paul G. Luviano Jr. We are especially thankful to First Baptist Church and Pastor Len Browning. They not only supported us during the last few weeks when Paul came home to be with his family, but they also supported Tammy and Brenna during the months when the family was separated.
There are so many others to thank -- the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association and Kathy Darvau, employees of Moffat County School District (including the special needs department, the high school, and the English Language Learners paraprofessionals), Grant Mortuary, the Independent Life Center, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Colorado National Guard.
We also want to thank Tracy Carlson and Charley Watkins for all the legwork they did to get things situated with the Veterans Affairs in Denver, and George Lewis for the ride to the hospital for our son when he needed transfusions.
Thank you, Craig, for taking us in, and helping us through this very difficult time. You have made our family feel at home, and we are very grateful.
Paul Sr., Tammy, Erica and Brenna Luviano
