9 a.m. The 2006 Western Area Special Olympics Summer Games are at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. Athletes compete in track and field, aquatics and powerlifting. The public is welcome.

9 a.m. Bears Ears Sportsman's Club has its annual spring clean-up day at the Cedar Mountain Range on Moffat County Road 7. This activity counts as a workday for club members. Membership sign-up is available for members of National Rifle Association.

Sunday, May 14
2 to 4 p.m. Happy Hands Crochet Club meets at 655 Ranney St. The project is a 6-inch doily. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.

Monday, May 15
5:30 p.m. Moffat County Library Board of Trustees meets at the Craig branch, 570 Green St.

6 p.m. The Moffat County Board of Control has its regular meeting in Room 112 of Colorado Northwestern Community College Craig campus, 50 College Drive.

6 to 8 p.m. Craig Mental Health, 439 Breeze St., hosts a regular meeting for "Women in Substance Abuse Recovery." There is a fee for the group meeting based on household income. Resources may be available to cover cost, depending on circumstances.Call Craig Mental Health at 824-6541.

Tuesday, May 16
All branches of the Moffat County Libraries will be closed for training and computer upgrades.

7 p.m. Moffat County High School FFA hosts its annual sale in the agricultural shop at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. A dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome.

7 p.m. The Moffat County High School and Craig Middle School choirs will present the concert "A Tribute to America" in the high school auditorium. The public is encouraged to attend.

Wednesday, May 17
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Craig/Moffat County Economic Development Part--nership has its annual meeting at the Holiday Inn, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13. New board members will be elected. Call Tim Gibbs at 826-2039.

Thursday, May 18
10 and 11:30 a.m. Story-time is at the Craig branch of Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St. The theme is bugs. Call 824-5116, ext. 405.

7 to 8 p.m. The Cancer Support Group meets at the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association conference room. The guest speaker is Dr. John Merrill, retired oncologist.

7 p.m. Moffat County High School's Spring Concert is in the high school auditorium, 900 Finley Lane.

Friday, May 19
8:30 a.m. A workday to prepare walkways for framing and cement is at the Moffat County Public Safety Center pond. Lunch and drinks are provided for workers. Take wheelbarrows, rakes, shovels, equipment to move dirt and gloves. Call Pam Lathrop 824-6811.
