Craig letter carriers collect nonperishable food items for the national Stamp Out Hunger Drive. Leave bags with items by mailbox for pick-up. Visit www.stampouthunger2006.com.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Habitat for Humanity has a workday at the first Craig project, 745 Yampa Ave. Take hammers, pry-bars and ladders. Call 824-4020 or 824-5459.

9 a.m. The 2006 Western Area Special Olympics Summer Games are at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. Athletes compete in track and field, aquatics and powerlifting. The public is welcome.

9 a.m. Bears Ears Sportsman's Club has its annual spring clean-up day at the Cedar Mountain Range on Moffat County Road 7. This activity counts as a workday for club members. Membership sign-up is available for members of National Rifle Association.

Sunday, May 14

2 to 4 p.m. Happy Hands Crochet Club meets at 655 Ranney St. The project is a 6-inch doily. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.

Monday, May 15

5:30 p.m. Moffat County Library Board of Trustees meets at the Craig branch, 570 Green St.

6 p.m. The Moffat County Board of Control has its regular meeting in Room 112 of Colorado Northwestern Community College Craig campus, 50 College Drive.

6 to 8 p.m. Craig Mental Health, 439 Breeze St., hosts a regular meeting for "Women in Substance Abuse Recovery." There is a fee for the group meeting based on household income. Resources may be available to cover cost, depending on circumstances. Call Craig Mental Health at 824-6541.

Tuesday, May 16

All branches of the Moffat County Libraries will be closed for training and computer upgrades.

7 p.m. Moffat County High School FFA hosts its annual sale in the agricultural shop at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. A dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome.
