Noon to 3 p.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County sponsors an Adopt-A-Thon featuring Craig Shelter animals at Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply, 2355 W. Victory Way. Adoption forms are available. Pets can be picked up from the shelter Monday after vaccination and spay/neuter fees are arranged, as per city ordinance.

1 to 10 p.m. Hayden Speedway is open with a charge of $15 per car and $5 per pit member. It also will be open Sunday, free of charge, but the track will not be prepped.The track is south of Hayden; follow the signs.

5 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary 4265 hosts its monthly senior citizens dinner at the VFW restaurant, 419 E. Victory Way. Dinner is spaghetti, tossed salad, garlic bread and cake.

Noon to 1 p.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce annual meeting is at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13. The cost is $15 a person. Those interested in learning more about the Chamber, its accomplishments and its goals for 2006 are welcome. To RSVP, call 824-5689.
