Craig Middle School eighth-grade teachers: Thanks to community participants in seminar

To the editor:

On April 27, eighth-grade boys at Craig Middle School explored career opportunities in the first Boys to Men Seminar.

They began the day with Colorado Northwestern Community College instructors in power plant technology, aviation, computer information systems and nursing. Later, students made on-site visits to Trapper Mine and Tri-State (Craig Station) power plant. Gene Bilodeau (CNCC), Ray Dubois (Trapper) and Dave Longwell (Tri-State) provided quality presenters and guides for the event. Each of these facilities enriched the boys' experiences and offered wonderful community role models for our students. The eighth-grade teachers and the boys thank you for your time, your effort and your excellence.
