Registration begins for Craig Parks and Recreation summer programs and swim lessons. Call 826-2029 or go to the Craig City Hall.
7 a.m. Craig Rotary Club meets at the Golden Cavvy Restaurant. Tom Watkins of Houma, La., and Amy Whipple of the Terrebonne Parish Library System, will present photos and give thanks for donations from the Craig and Steamboat Springs Rotary Clubs' "Books for the Bayou" book drive.

Wednesday, April 5
Today is the deadline to register for T-ball, coach pitch and girls softball through Craig Parks and Recreation. T-ball is for 5- and 6-year-olds. Coach pitch is for 7- and 8-year-olds. Girl's slowpitch is for youths ages 9 to 16. The practices begin May 1. The fee is $30.
Today is the deadline for Craig Youth Baseball, open to youths ages 8 to 18. A hat and shirt are included in the fee. Night league teams are available for the following age groups: 8 to 10, 11 to 12 and 13 to 15. The season begins in mid-April with practice. Games begin mid-May. The fee is $40 for one player, $70 for two and $90 for three or more. Call Parks and Rec at 826-2029 or sign up at Craig City Hall.

7:30 a.m. The Pipeline Group's annual "Public Education Contractor Awareness Program" includes a free breakfast inside the Colorado Room at Colorado Northwestern Community College Weiss Center, 500 Kennedy Drive, in Rangely. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors/students and $1 for children, available at the door, Colorado Northwestern Community College Bookstore, Museum of Northwest Colorado and the High Country Veterinary Clinic.
