- Loyd Elroy DeuPree III, or “Papa,” as he was known to his 18 grandchildren, was born in 1927, one half-block north of The Memorial Hospital in Craig. He graduated from Craig High School in 1945. Thus began a lifetime of service and dedication to the people of Craig.
