Moffat County Commissioners
Last met: Tuesday
Decisions included:
• Commissioners announced that the county had received more than $900,000 in two separate grants from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs. The grants will pay for road equipment and storage facilities for the county.
• Commissioners accepted bids for new equipment for the Moffat County Pest management Department.
• Commissioners voted, 2-1, to hire a temporary assistant director for the Museum of Northwest Colorado.
• Commissioners voted, 3-0, to hire three part-time employees at the Sheriff's Office. The new employees will not increase the sheriff's budget.

Craig City Council
Next meeting: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in council chambers of Craig City Hall, 300 W. Fourth St.
Agenda:
• Renewal of the tavern liquor license for Wallie's Inc.
• Public hearing for individuals to be heard on the economic and social effects of the water treatment plant improvements for the City of Craig planning area.
• Approval of purchase of service body for a 2005 GMC pickup for the parks department.
• Finance director Bruce Nelson, financial report for February.
• Chief of Police Walt Vanatta, annual report.
