Concealed weapon permit course

The criminal justice program is currently looking for interested students for another concealed weapon permit course. If 10 interested people respond, CNCC can host the course at an arranged date. It's an eight-hour course for $60 and .5 credits if a student chooses to earn the credit. This course is a prerequisite to apply for a concealed weapon permit in Rio Blanco County and will consist of four hours lecture and four hours shooting on the range. Those interested can call Amanda Martin at 675-3208.

Returning students need to complete "intent to re-enroll" form

CNCC students planning to re-enroll for the upcoming school year should complete an "intent to re-enroll" form. This form will be used to determine eligibility for scholarships for next year. Scholarships are still available for first-time attendees also. Both forms can be found at www.cncc.edu/financial_aid/default.htm under applications and forms.

CNCC Internet map server is up and running

The first generation of CNCC's Internet map server is now functional and is located at http://www.cncc-gis.net/website/Community_Map/viewer.htm. There is work being done with mapping Moffat County parcels and certainly a lot more data will be added for that campus, but for now Rio Blanco County has basic functionality.
