5:30 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Energy Producers Association is holding a dinner at The Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave. The dinner will feature a presentation on oil shale development and new procedures for extracting oil. Guest speaker Tracy Boyd with Shell Exploration & Production Co. will begin his presentation at 8 p.m., after dinner. The cost is $28 and reservations are requested. The Craig Sea Sharks host the Summer Club Swim Meet through Sunday at Craig Swimming Complex. The lap pool will be closed. The wave pool will operate on a limited basis and on a special schedule -- 200 people per three-hour session. This schedule is first-come, first-served. Call the complex at 824-3015.
