Violet Smarik and Jason York, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Nathan Philip Donald York, at 1:02 a.m. July 6, 2006, at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs.

He weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.
