Four churches work together to offer vacation Bible school


A vacation Bible school is being jointly planned and offered by First Congregational Church, Lutheran Church of Grace, St. Mark's Episcopal Church and Friendship United Methodist Church.

The school will be from 9 a.m. to noon July 17 to July 20.

Each child who attends will learn about the Ten Commandments and receive a T-shirt.

During the four days, students will take part in a puppet show, games and snacks, crafts, songs and lesson time.

All children preschool age through outgoing sixth graders are invited to attend.

Anyone interested is encouraged to register as soon as possible at the First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Registration is accepted until July 17. A fee of $4 will be charged for the cost of the T-shirt.
