Aaron David Winslow, known to family as "Aaron-Aaron," passed away Jan. 20, 2006, in Golden while on a sports-filled weekend in Denver.

Born Nov. 18, 1980, in Evanston, Wyo., he was a long-time resident of Casper, Wyo.

Aaron enjoyed having his extended circle of family, friends and all the family pets around him.

Aaron is survived by his parents, Gregory David and Phyllis Gayle Winslow, as well as his older brother, Christopher Winslow.

He is survived by the following paternal relatives: his great-grandmother, LaVeta Winslow of Craig; his aunt Sally and her husband, Scott Chase, and their two sons, Adam and Ben, of Green River, Wyo.; and his aunt Amy and her husband, Muhammad Ayub, of Olympia, Wash.

He is survived by the following maternal relatives: his maternal grandmother, Sue Mercer of Henderson, Nev.; his uncle Glen Mercer and his children, Glen Jr. and Kristen, of Casper, Wyo.; his aunt Linda and her husband, David Hill, of Jacksonville, Fla.; his aunt Sandy Mercer and her children, Erik Griffin and Kari Griffin, of Craig; and his cousin Ashley Main of Baltimore, Md.

He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, Russ Winslow; his paternal grandparents, Larry and Dorothy Winslow; his maternal grandfather, Mac Mercer; and his maternal aunt, Karen Mercer.

Father Jose Saenz was the celebrant at a Mass of Christian burial celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Craig. Interment followed at Craig Cemetery.
