Organizers of this week's 2006 Bridal Faire say the event will provide one-stop shopping for anyone planning a wedding in Moffat County.

The fair is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Holiday Inn, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13.

The event will bring 22 vendors, including wedding arrangers, jewelers, florists and photographers, to Craig.

Magic Carpet Travel and the Holiday Inn are sponsoring the fair.

Local vendors include the Party Patch, Loyd's Cleaners and The Giving Tree.

Admission is free, and participants will have a chance to enter drawings and receive discount offers and door prizes. There will also be complimentary champagne and the chance to sample wedding cakes.

For information call Magic Carpet Travel, 824-1951.

Tax season begins

Taxes aren't due until April 17, but Colorado taxpayers can already begin filing their 2005 taxes electronically.

Taxpayers can file using the state's NetFile system by visiting the Web site, www.netfile.state.co.us. NetFile is free.

The program, provided by the Colorado Department of Revenue, can be used for full-year and part-year residents and for simple and complex filings.

If taxpayers don't want to file online, they can file over the phone if they meet the state's requirements.

The TeleFile program is available to full-year residents who have their current home address on file with the Department of Revenue.

For residents in Northwest Colorado, the phone number for TeleFile is (877) 835-3453.

For information on the state's electronic filing programs or for information about other Department of Revenue programs, visit the department's Web site, www.taxcolorado.com.

For account-specific questions, taxpayers can call the Colorado tax information call center at (303) 238-7378.

Freezers back

The freezers at the Craig City Market failed Tuesday, forcing store employees to throw away some frozen foods.

But store employees said later in the week that the freezers are back on and working fine.
