8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Stewardship meets at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion. The group will discuss the role of adaptive management in the community alternative for the Bureau of Land Management Resource Management Plan revision.

6:30 p.m. The Recreational After-school Doorway, or RAD, will sponsor a Mystery Dinner Theater. Tickets are $40 each or $350 a table. Cash bar begins at 6:30 p.m., and dinner starts at 7 p.m. All proceeds benefit RAD. Call 826-0199.

Saturday, Jan. 14

10 a.m. The Northwest Colorado Snowmobile Club will have an Avalanche Safety Day. The event, at the Freeman Trailhead, includes a demonstration by the club's avalanche team and Colorado State Parks. The event is open to the public. Call Ralph Stewart at 824-4198.

6 p.m. There will be a financial aid meeting for senior parents in the Moffat County High School library. The meeting is meant to help parents with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and the scholarship process.

7:15 p.m. The Craig Group 1 of Alcoholics Anonymous will have a closed meeting at 50 S. Ranney St.

Wednesday, Jan. 18

11 a.m. 1 p.m. The Visiting Nurse Association will host a flu shot clinic, which is open to the public. Call 824-8233 to make an appointment at an alternative time.

7 p.m. The Craig Group 1 of Alcoholics Anonymous will have a book study.

Thursday, Jan. 19

6 to 7:30 p.m. The Moffat County School District will host a Literacy Carnival at the high school for students in preschool to sixth grade. A parent or adult guardian must accompany children.
