5 p.m. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary No. 4265 will host its monthly Senior Citizen's Dinner at the VFW restaurant. The group will serve meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, rolls, fruit cocktails and cookies.

6:30 p.m. Comunidad Integrada will sponsor a food bazaar celebrating the culinary heritage of Mexico, Central America and South America at Holy Name Catholic Church, 524 Oak St. in Steamboat Springs. All proceeds will go toward Comunidad Integrada's programs. Proceeds will be doubled through a $5,000 challenge grant from the Penrose Institute.

Noon to 6 p.m. The Colorado Northwestern Community College Student Senate, the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, The Memorial Hospital and the Colorado Northwestern Community College Student Nurse's Association offers free flu shots for the college's students, faculty and staff at the Bell Tower Atrium. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tryouts for the Local Talent Concert of the Craig Concert Association will be at the Moffat County High School Auditorium. The talent concert will be at 2 p.m. March 12. Call Jim Simpson at 824-4138.

10 a.m. to noon The VFW Post No. 4265 will host two "Just Say No to Drugs" Coloring Contests at its hall, 419 E. Victory Way, upstairs. One contest is for students in first through fourth grades. The group will provide the coloring sheets and crayons, but participants also can bring crayons. The group also will sponsor a poster contest for students in fifth through eighth grades. Participants should bring a poster board no larger than 18-by-24-inches. Parents or guardians must be with contestants to sign an entry form. Refreshments will be served. Wednesday, Feb. 8

8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Meeker Community Resource Center will host a workshop for board members of nonprofit organizations at Mountain Valley Bank, 400 Main St., in Meeker. The fee is $50 and includes training, materials, breakfast and lunch. Topics include engaging volunteers, legal obligations, board roles and responsibilities.
