Funeral services for Michael David Bailey, of Craig, were Feb. 21, 2006, at the First Christian Church in Craig with Mervin Johnson officiating.
Michael was born Feb. 17, 1963, at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, the son of Peggy and David Bailey.
He moved to Craig in 1976. He graduated from Moffat County High School in 1981.
Michael was employed by High Country Coca-Cola Bottling Co. as a sales manager. He loved activities such as hunting, four-wheeling, coordinating the Mud Runs with his sister, bowling, restoring his Firebird and spending time with Jordan, his family and many friends.
Mr. Bailey died Feb. 16, 2006 in a traffic accident near Hayden.
He is survived by his wife, Allison, of Craig; his mother, Peggy Bailey, of Craig; his father, David (Cheryl) Bailey, of Monroe, Ga.; a son, Jordan, of Craig; a stepdaughter, Heather Setliff, of Danville, Va.; a stepson, Tony Powell, of Craig; a sister, Kathy (Richard) Oberwitte, of Craig; two aunts, Mary Jordan, of Craig, and Donna (Tim) McAnnany, of Rockfield, Ky.; an uncle, Larry (Linda) Jordan, of Dillon, Mont.; and a nephew, Wyatt Oberwitte, of Craig.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ray and Ethal Jordan.
The family suggests memorial donations to the Jordan Bailey Education Fund in care of Grant Mortuary.
