Today

7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Boys & Girls Club of Craig will be open. There will be an afternoon charge of $10 for all members who want to participate after 1 p.m. Scholarships are available upon request. Call ahead to determine qualification. Free lunch will be provided at noon, as well as a morning and afternoon snack. There will be no transportation available to or from the club. Call Jonathan or Mike at 826-0411.

Saturday, Feb. 18

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Craig Girl Scouts will be staffing booths to sell cookies. The booths will be in operation at City Market and Kmart. Cookies also will be sold from a cookie van in the Safeway parking lot.

Monday, Feb. 20

All branches of the Moffat County Libraries will be closed for the Pres--ident's Day holiday. The Moffat County Library board of trustees meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Craig branch library.

Noon The Yampa Valley Ladies Golf Association will hold its monthly meeting at the Golden Cavvy Restaurant, 538 Yampa Ave. All women golfers are welcome. Call Gwen Parker at 824-9673.

7 p.m. Overeaters Anonymous meets every Wednesday at First Con--gregational Church. Call 824-6915.

Thursday, Feb. 23

10 and 11:30 a.m. The Moffat Coun--ty Library will host story-hour. This week's topic is more dinosaurs. Story-hour is at the library, 570 Green St.

Friday, Feb. 24

7 to 10 p.m. The Yampa Valley Pregnancy Center will sponsor a Bunko Beach Party at The Boys & Girls Club of Craig. RSVP to LuAnn at 824-5926 or Barb at 276-3111.

7:30 p.m. The Knights of Columbus of Saint Michael will host Mardi Gras at St. Michael Church. Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased at the St. Michael Church office, 678 School St., from any Knights of Columbus member or by calling 824-5330.

Saturday, Feb. 25

1 to 2 p.m. Distribution day for SHARE Craig, a program offering low-cost groceries to local residents, will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. Call Karen at 824-7939.

7 p.m. The 58th annual Maybell Plays will feature "Comin' Round the Mountain," by Ned Albert, and "The Laughing Ghost," by Le Roma Greth, at Maybell Elementary School on Haynes Street in Maybell. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors 60 and older. Children younger than 6 get in free.

Thursday, March 2

4:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will be a benefit dinner for Moffat County High School cheerleaders selected to attend the Down Under Sports Bowl in Australia. The entire community is welcome. Cost for the dinner at The Center of Craig is $10 for adults, $8 for 4- to 12-year-olds, and free for children 3 and younger.

Saturday, March 4

9 p.m. Craig Fire/Rescue will host the annual Firefighter's Ball at Cassidy's at the Holiday Inn of Craig. There will be live entertainment by Kenny Bradberry. For more information, call 824-5914.
