Rec league volleyball kick off soon
Coed volleyball is slated to begin on Sept. 11 at Craig Middle School.
The deadline for teams to sign up is Friday through the Craig Parks and Recreation Department.
There will be two leagues -- competitive and semi-competitive. The competitive league plays on Monday nights.
The semi-competitive league plays Tuesday and Thursday nights.
The team fee is $125, and each player pays $10.
Players can play on two teams in two different leagues with prior approval. Those playing in two teams will be required to pay two fees.
Semi-competitive rosters cannot list more than one male and two female players from a competitive roster. For more information, call recreation facilitator Pam Maneotis at 826-2004.

Youth bowling starts in mid-September
Thunder Rolls Bowling Center, 990 Industrial Drive, hosts sign-up for the Craig youth bowling league at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 9.
The league is divided into three divisions -- pee-wee, bantam and high rollers. Pee-wee and bantam, for children ages 3 to 12, will be on Saturdays at 9:15 a.m. Bowling begins Sept. 16.
High rollers, for youths ages 13 to 20, will bowl on Mondays at 5:45 p.m. Bowling begins Sept. 18.
There will be certified coaches available during league play and during sign-up.
Parent-youth meetings will be held on the first day of league play.
