10 and 11:30 a.m. The Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries hosts story-time at the library, 570 Green St. The theme for this week's story-time is "underwater world." Everyone is invited.
6 to 9 p.m. Colorado Northwestern Community College hosts a Com--munity Appreciation Barbecue at the Craig campus Bell Tower Building, 50 College Drive. Food and drinks will be provided.

Saturday, Aug. 26
10 a.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce annual Mud Splash mud volleyball tournament is at Loudy-Simpson Park. Call 824-5689 to register a team, or come out on game day and watch teams play dirty. All proceeds from the tournament will be used for a local beautification project.

10 a.m. Hands-On Quilters meet at the Craig Fire Station, 419 Yampa Ave. Newcomers are welcome. Call Cheryl Bush at 824-2567.

1 to 2 p.m. SHARE Craig, a program that offers low-cost groceries to residents, has a registration day at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. Call Karen at 824-7939.
