City overlay project starts Monday
The city of Craig street overlay project starts Monday.
The city asks residents to drive as little as possible on the streets during the paving because it creates safety hazards to drivers and city employees. It also may harm the new asphalt.
Estimated street schedule for paving:
Monday
Ranney Street: Victory Way to Eighth Street
Tuesday
Breeze Street: Sixth Street to 10th Street
Wednesday
Barclay Street: Sandrock Drive to 13th Street (Barclay Street over the hill will be closed to through traffic)
Thursday
12th Street: Barclay Street to Taylor Street
Taylor Street: 12th Street to 13th Street
Aug. 14
Washington Street: Third Street to Fourth Street
Washington Street: Fourth Street to Victory Way
Bellaire Street: Fourth Street to Victory Way
Aug. 15
Country Club Drive: Texas Avenue to East Elementary School
