- William Aymer “Bill” Strausborger, 94, died Thursday, April 20, 2006, at Canyon Hills Manor in Thermopolis, Wyo., after a short illness. A memorial is at a later date in Eugene, Ore., with interment in Rest Haven Cemetery in Thermopolis.

- Elsie Cerise of Yampa passed away April 18, 2006, at the Doak Walker Care Center in Steamboat Springs. She was 95 years old and was born May 19, 1910, in Masonville. She was the first of four daughters, Wilma, Elizabeth and Annabell Gabriel; her parents were John C. Gabriel and Margaret Repensky. They moved to Yampa in 1918 from Loveland. She married Robert Louis Williams in 1931, and they had three sons: James Rohert, John Edward and Paul Louis.

- Kurt Douglas Gray was born April 14, 1949, in Steamboat Springs, to John “Jack” and Dorothy M. (Scott) Gray. Kurt was raised and attended school in Craig and graduated from Moffat County High School in 1967. He then attended Southern Colorado State College in Pueblo and graduated in 1973. While in college Kurt met his wife-to-be Elaine Jo Armstrong, and they were married on March 15, l970, in Fowler.
