Phi Theta Kappa, Beta Epsilon Tau Chapter, President Danielle Kissner, Vice President, Leslie Kurtz and Co-advisor Leana Cox will attend the 88th International Convention in Seattle through April 22.

Friday, April 21

Colorado Northwestern flight and aircraft maintenance programs invite counselors, teachers and high school girls from Western Slope to participate in the Women in Aviation Seminar at Strand Flying School in Grand Junction.

The Colorado Peace Officer Standard and Training Basic Law Enforcement Academy graduation will be held at Hill Hall on the Rangely campus, from 1 to 2 p.m. An open house will follow from 2 to 4 p.m.

Saturday, April 22

Pre-college testing for community members and high school students who want to take classes this summer are at the Craig campus. Call 824-1101 to schedule a test. Limited to the first 14 applicants. Pay the $10 fee in the bookstore before April 22, and take receipt to the test.

Thursday, April 27

CNCC students serve as career mentors for the Craig Middle School eighth-grade Girls to Women and boys conferences. Activities include aviation, computers, nursing, criminal justice and power plant technology presentations.

Yampa River rafting trip runs through April 30 Fee includes permit fees, travel, all meals and river equipment use. CNCC Outdoor Recreation Program (ORP) activities are open to current CNCC students and community members who want to register for the class. Current students can sign up at the Craig or Rangely campus bookstores. Call 675-3304.

Tuesday, May 30

New cosmetology classes begin. Cosmetology also will offer part-time classes from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Call 824-2004.

8 a.m. Craig Middle School invitational track meet at Moffat County High School track. Registration is at 7 a.m.

Thursday, April 20

7 p.m. First-grade spring musical, "Go Fish," is in the East Elementary School gymnasium.

Saturday, April 22

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Moffat County Early Childhood Center's 2006 Celebrate Children Festival at Centennial Mall. Free, fun activities are scheduled for children ages 2 to 8.

Wednesday, April 26

12:30 p.m. Volunteer Appreciation luncheon is in the East Elementary School cafeteria.

Thursday, April 27

1 and 7 p.m. Third-grade music programs are at Ridgeview Elementary School.

7 p.m. Third-grade spring musical, "Lighten Up," is in the East Elementary School gymnasium.

Friday, April 28

Today is the all-day Arts Festival at East Elementary School.

11:10 a.m. Citizen of the month/good sports luncheon at the Craig Intermediate School library.

3:30 p.m. Clint Wells Invitational track meet at Moffat County High School track.

Saturday, April 29

9 p.m. Moffat County High School prom dance at Moffat County High School gymnasium.
