Michael Richard Sheehan, 52, of Dixon, Wyo., passed away March 28, 2006, at his home.

He was born April 9, 1953, in Craig to George and Reba Sheehan, of Dixon. He attend the Little Snake River Schools and Casper College. He was, for all of his life, a rancher in the Little Snake River Valley.

Mike will be remembered as being a friend to all, especially young people. He was not only their friend, but he also gave them many 4-H and FFA animals and their "first" horses. He enjoyed cutter racing, watching bull riding, socializing and visiting with friends. But, most of all, he enjoyed working on his ranch.

Mike is survived by Cotton, Jock, Melissa and Brett Sheehan, Reba Sheehan, Linda and John Fleming, Kathleen and Ray Weber, Frank Sheehan, Pat and Judi Sheehan, Shannon and Mike Schardt, Marianne and Lawrence Baysinger, J and Glynda Sheehan and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 1, 2006, at the Little Snake River School main gym in Baggs, Wyo., with Pastor Paul Prestrud of Little Snake River Community Church officiating. Memorials may be sent to Little Snake River Ambulance, P.O. Box 307, Baggs, WY 82321.
