2 to 4 p.m. REPS (Reaching Every--one Preventing Suicide), the Colo--rado Department of Health and Environment's Office of Suicide Pre--vention, and the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Colorado will host a meeting at Centennial Hall in Steamboat Springs to explore the burden of suicide in Colorado and in our local communities.

3 to 4:30 p.m. Quest, a children's after-school ministry, will be held at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Kindergarteners through fourth-graders are welcome. Call 824-2308.

6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Yampa Valley Partners will host "Our Region, Our Future," the first of two sessions in its 2005 Regional Leadership Summit. The first session is at Centennial Hall in Steamboat Springs. The second session is Oct. 20 in Craig. The registration fee of $45 covers both sessions.

Cats, Dogs and Wine Glasses, a silent auction and wine tasting fund-raiser benefiting the Northwest Colorado Animal Assistance League, is from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Depot Art Center in Steamboat Springs. Tickets are $25.
