Moffat County Neighbor: Sari Cobb

Sari Cobb

Age: 46

Occupation: Realtor

What should your business card say you do? It should say I'm a very busy lady. I wear lots of hats. My favorite thing in the world is first-time home buyers. I am tournament support for my husband, Chuck, at the golf course.

Place of birth: Craig

Describe your morning routine: Alarm goes off at 6:30 a.m. I jump in the shower, go out and water all the plants, turn on K-LOVE, spend a few minutes in my Bible and start the day.

How would your friends describe you? Loyal, love to laugh, the glass is always half full, and there's always a bright side to every dark cloud.

Have you ever had a book change your life? What was it and why? Yes, the Bible. It showed me that the word is not all about me and that if we face every challenge with God's love, we'll get through everything.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a veterinarian like Dr. Neil (McCandless).

If you could invite any four people over for dinner, who would they be and what would you serve? It would be so cool to find four homeless people and serve them a fabulous meal. It would be cool to invite four dignitaries, but it would be so meaningful to find four homeless people and let them know someone cares about them.

What are the three things you can't live without? God, my husband and my family.

What was your most embarrassing moment? Probably when I was speaking to a group of women in Wyoming and my button popped off. We all laughed and had a good time with it.

What's the worst reason you've received/given for breaking up with someone? It was probably one that I gave to my potential husband, and I basically told him he wasn't as much on the wild side as I needed him to be. He was just too straight-laced.

If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would it be? Smell, because I can't imagine not seeing the faces and the expressions of the people around me, and I can't imagine not hearing the love in someone's voice. I can't imagine not being able to reach out and touch someone or hold my husband's hand. But I could be without smell and still have all the rest of that surround me. Food wouldn't taste as good, but that wouldn't be a bad thing.

What music, book or movie are you ashamed to admit you love? "The Sound of Music."

What would you do if you won $10 million? Immediately start sending anonymous gifts to people who need help -- someone who needs a new refrigerator or someone who needs a down payment on a house.

Do you think we're doing enough for hurricane relief? I don't think it's enough, but I think it's everything we possibly can do.
