To the editor:
In response to the article about Dean Harrison Aug. 25, 2005, I believe that it was hurtful and totally unnecessary to write and tell all about Dean's priors or why he was in jail at the time of his death.
It was an unfair and one-sided picture of a man who is gone too soon and can't speak for himself.
Dean still had drams and aspirations, even as he battled his disease.
I do know Dean was not liked by a lot of people and for good reasons, but Dean still had friends and was loved by me, his family and his church.
Dean will be missed and I am a better person for having him in my life and loving him as he loved me.
