Four people were charged with drug offenses, three of them with distributing methamphetamine, after narcotics task force agents raided a home in Craig on Friday.
Jay Christopher Vatalaro, 25; Chastity Renea Suazo, 23; Skyler Wayne Elwess, 31; and Leslie Dawn Knight, 50, all of Craig were arrested by agents of the Grand, Routt and Moffat Narcotics Enforcement Team, which executed a search warrant at about 6 p.m. at 558 E. Third St., law officers said.
Dusty Schulze, task force supervisor, said agents had been watching the house for about two months.
Agents reported finding Vata--laro, Suazo, Elwess and narcotics in a storage shed, Schulze said.
The three were charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Suazo also was charged with a parole violation, Schulze said.
Agents reported finding Knight inside the house with marijuana and methamphetamine, Schulze said. She is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All four were being held in the Moffat County Jail on Monday afternoon.
Elwess was being held on $45,000 bail, and Vatalaro was being held on $50,000 bail.
Suazo was held on $40,000 bail, but because she is charged with a parole violation, it wasn't likely she would be released on bond, a jail official said Monday.
Knight is being held on $2,000 bail.
Agents reported seizing 1.25 ounces of meth and more than one ounce of marijuana, Schulze said.
That much meth would bring about $2,800 sold by the gram, Schulze said.
Officers from the Craig Police Department and deputies from the Moffat County Sheriff's Office assisted with the arrests.
