CNCC appreciative of coverage, support
To the Editor:
Colorado Northwestern Community College wishes to thank the Craig Daily Press for the excellent coverage of our very first RN graduation and pinning. This event was the culmination of much hard work by many people in our community.
I would like to thank Marilyn Hehr, Sandy Harding and Marilyn Russell, the full-time faculty, for making this all happen on a daily basis. Thanks also to our part-time clinical instructors Beka Warren, Dave Higgins and Chris Marks-Neece, who have patiently taught and mentored our students. The entire staff at The Memorial Hospital has been wonderfully supportive in so many ways.
Thanks also to the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, Craig Medical Center, Moffat Family Clinic, Mountain Medical Specialists, Boys & Girls Club of Craig, and Headstart for providing clinical experiences for the students. We are excited about adding Sandrock Ridge to our list of clinical facilities for the fall!
A special thank you goes to the Moffat County Board of Control for supporting this program.
We are confident that our local community will benefit tremendously from this new local resource of professional nurses, and we are so grateful for the overwhelming support we have received.
