9:30 a.m. The community playgroup for infants to 5-year-olds and their parents meets until 10:30 a.m. at the Early Childhood Development Center in the Moffat County School Administration Building, 775 Yampa Ave.
10 a.m. The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering immunizations. New clients should bring in their records 24 to 48 hours before their appointment dates. 11 p.m. Queeda Mantle, author of "The Mantle Ranch," will be at a book-signing at Sprirt Pass, in the Centinnial Mall until 2 p.m.

Noon Cinco de Mayo celebration will be at the Moffat County Fairgrounds until 6 p.m. The public is invited to come and enjoy the festivities.
5 p.m. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary hosts a family-style free dinner for senior citizens at the VFW, 419 E. Victory Way the first Saturday of each month. Proceeds from VFW bingo helps sponsor the event. Call 824-7145.
