Elk foundation hosts annual banquet Saturday
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is hosting its annual banquet Saturday at the Holiday Inn, 300 S. Colorado Hwy 13 in Craig. Call 824-4724 for tickets.
VNA hosts meetings about health care
The Visiting Nurse Association is hosting two meetings April 17 about the feasibility of a community health center in Northwest Colorado.
The first is at 7 a.m. at the Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs in Conference Room One. The second meeting is at noon in the Board Room at The Memorial Hospital in Craig at noon.
Speakers from the Colorado Community Health Network and Salud Family Clinics will provide an overview about the kinds of services offered through a CHC facility. Call Cece Carsky at the VNA at 879-1632.

girls volleyball camps
Becky Howlett, Moffat County High School girl's volleyball coach, is offering two volleyball camps in April for girls. The camps will be held in the MCHS gym from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.
The first session is from April 4 to 9 and is open to fifth- and sixth-grade girls.
The second session is from April 11 to 14 for seventh- and eighth-grade girls. The cost is $35, and the registration deadline is Friday.

BLM seeks vendors, equipment for fire season
The Bureau of Land Manage-ment is signing up vendors and equipment for the upcoming fire season.
Individuals and businesses that have equipment and are interested in signing an emergency equipment rental agreement -- and vendors interested in providing meals for firefighters -- should contact Scott Wintemute at 826-5027 or swintemu@blm.gov.
Multiple sclerosis benefit walk set for May 14
