Merwin Peppler: 1925-2005

Merwin Peppler, 80, of Craig died Friday, March 25, at the Memorial Hospital.
Merwin was born July 25, 1925, in Parco, Wyo. to William and Lola (Wilson) Peppler.
He was raised near Baggs where he attended school graduating from Baggs High School.
Merwin and his brother Burl formed their own construction company in 1948 and operated that business until 1950. Merwin then served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
After the war, he returned to Baggs, and he and his brother worked together buying land, doing construction and operating the family ranch.
Merwin enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.
He is survived by his brother, Burl Peppler, of Baggs, Wyo.; half-sister, Loretta Lackey, of Orlando, Fla; half-brother, William A. Burton, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents.
At Merwin's request, cremation will take place and no services will be held.
