Boy, 2, suffers burns in alleged child-abuse case

A 2-year-old Craig boy is being treated for serious burns to his legs at The Children’s Hospital in Denver after police and Social Services determined the boy had been scalded by hot water and had not received medical attention, said Lt. John Forgay of the Craig Police Department.
Cattle guard prices raised

For the third time in three years, the Moffat County commissioners have raised the price of cattle guards. The commissioners unanimously voted to increase the cost of cattle guards Tuesday so that the price will cover the county’s expenses on materials.
