4 p.m. Compassionate Friends meets at the First Congregational Church, Sixth and Green streets, in the library room. The mission of Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief after the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive. 7 p.m. Shawl Ministry Meeting is scheduled in Witte Hall of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 657 Green St. This ministry is open to anyone in the community who likes to knit or crochet or would like to learn to knit or crochet. This will be an organizational meeting. We will be knitting or crocheting prayer shawls to present to those in need of our prayers and also in celebration of joyful occasions in others' lives. Entertainment includes the mounted color guard from Ft. Carson, Meeker Drill Team and the Tugs & Traces Driving club. Food will be available.
