8 a.m. First Baptist Church will be holding a yard sale and bake sale fund-raiser until 2 p.m. with proceeds going to fund camp scholarships for Mount Elim Youth Camp. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., hot dogs and lemonade can be purchased for $1. Donated items will be accepted from 9 a.m. to noon today, and they can be dropped off at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St.

Monday, June 6
9 a.m. The Challenger British Soccer Camp will take place Monday to Friday at Woodbury Park. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, soccer ball, bag tag and player evaluation. Participants are divided into two age groups: ages 5 to 9 and ages 10 to 14. The younger group will meet from 9 a.m. to noon, and the older group from 1 to 4 p.m. The cost is $85 for the younger group and $90 for the older group. 5 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Dental Coalition is hosting a grand opening of its new dental clinic until 7 p.m. The Dental Care clinic is at 485 Yampa Ave. in Craig. There will be a special recognition of supporters at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

9:30 a.m. The Craig Book Club meets the second Thursday of the month. The location of the meeting is rotating among members. Call Patti at 826-0412.

4 p.m. Compassionate Friends meets at the First Congregational Church, Sixth and Green streets, in the library room. The mission of the Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief after the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.
