Briefs for June 2, 2005

The Bureau of Land Managment will meet with the Yampa Valley Vehicle Coalition at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion.

The BLM will present maps of the area. There will be information about areas that have travel restrictions and ideas of what an off-highway vehicle recreation area might look like.

All off-road vehicle owners are welcome to hear the BLM's concerns about how the area is currently being used. If you take a vehicle off the county road on BLM land you will be affected in the future by what is happening. The coalition will be exchanging information on what is on the BLM maps now and what riders want on the maps in the future. Call 824-2683.
