No comment from county about RS 2477
The Moffat County commissioners held a 90-minute executive session on legal issues about a lawsuit about a half-mile section of road in Greystone.
But they didn't have much to say about it when the executive session ended.
Advised by the county attorney not to discuss the issue, the commissioners declined to comment. The information will come out during the lawsuit, they said.
The county is suing James and Katherine Bassett for ownership of a .47 mile stretch of road that crosses their property. The Bassetts say it is their private property, but the commissioners contend it is County Road 60A.
The county has retained R.A. Santarelli of Almont to represent it in court. Santarelli already has filed suit against the Bassetts.
