The Craig Performing Arts Project is holding auditions for six male roles in their first production "Something's Afoot" at 7 p.m Wednesday at the Center of Craig. Any men 16 and older are welcome. The roles are a retired British Army colonel, a butler, a cockney manservant, a nephew, a young college student and a doctor. Call 824-5116 with questions.

Ground Hog soccer
tourney set for Saturday
The Ninth annual Ground Hog Indoor Soccer tournament is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Craig Middle School. There are four divisions: men and women for those 14 and older and boys and girls younger than 14. The fee is $25 a team. (youths younger than 14 are free.) The practice schedule for February is Wednesdays and Sundays at the Boys and Girls Club. Younger than 14 is from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Adults can practice from 8:30 to 10 p.m.

Tickets for Kiwanis
play go on sale Feb. 4
Tickets for the annual Kiwanis play go on sale Feb. 4 at the VFW, 419 E. Victory Way. The door opens at 5 p.m., and sales begin at 6 p.m. For more information, call Steve Deyo at 824-9441.

Boys and Girls Club
hosts Club Buck auction
On Saturday, the Boys and Girls Club will host a Club Buck auction in the gym at the club until 5 p.m.
Members who earned Club Bucks can bid on toys, games and other items. The auction will be run by a professional auctioneer and parents are invited to participate. Members earn Club Bucks for kind deeds, completing homework assignments, and engaging in learning activities. The items to be auctioned were left over from Christmas for Kids.

Snowmobilers invited
to poker run Feb. 5
On Feb. 5, the Craig Snowmobile club is hosting a poker run. The poker run starts at the Freemen Trailhead parking lot at 9:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded at Beef & Peppers Restaurant at 6:30 p.m.
Entry fees are $10 a hand. Poker run profits go to a Craig charity or for a college scholarship. Details are available at local snowmobile dealers, merchant poster displays and at the Freemen Trailhead.

Local Talent Concert
tryouts set for Saturday
The Craig Concert Association would like to invite all musicians, singers and dancers to audition Saturday for The Local Talent Concert, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Moffat County High School auditorium. Tryouts are on a first-come, first-served basis and should be between three and six minutes. Submit a tape or CD of your audition before Saturday if you are unable to attend. The Local Talent Concert will be at 2 p.m. March 6 at the high school auditorium. Call Jim Simpson 824-4138.

DBA plans annual
Art Walk for Feb. 12
The Downtown Business Association is planning the 10th annual Art Walk from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 12 and is looking for participants.
The Art Walk has become a tradition for artists and businesses to draw attention to themselves and provide the public with a wintertime diversion.
Registration is $25 and must be received by Feb. 5. Call Carol Wilson at 824-4580.

EBay workshop
offered March 3
A workshop about how to sell on eBay is offered by Small Business Development Center in Craig at the Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave.
