1:30 p.m. The Governor's Office of Economic Development and International Trade and the Northwest Loan Fund will host an informational workshop about business financing options. The meeting will be at the Rangely campus of Colorado Northwestern Community College in the Johnson Building Banquet Room, 500 Kennedy Drive, in Rangely, and it will last until 4:30 p.m.

9:30 a.m. The community playgroup for children ages infants to 5 years and their parents meets every Friday until 10:30 a.m. at the Early Education Center in the Moffat County Administration Building, 775 Yampa Ave.

The Hayden Recreation Board is sponsoring Western riding lessons for children Friday and Feb. 25, at the indoor arena at the Routt County Fairgrounds. The cost is $20 a child. Multiple child discounts are available. Emphasis will be on safety and proper riding technique. To register and reserve ride time, call Karen Montieth at 276-3088.

4 p.m. The Boys and Girls Club will host a Club Buck auction in the gym at the club until 5 p.m. Members who earned Club Bucks can bid on toys, games and other items. Parents are invited to join.
