Friday, January 28
9:30 a.m. The community playgroup for children ages infants to 5 years and their parents meets every Friday until 10:30 a.m. at the Early Education Center in the Moffat County Administration Building, 775 Yampa Ave.

The Hayden Recreation Board is sponsoring Western riding lessons for children Friday and Feb. 25 at the indoor arena at the Routt County Fairgrounds. The cost is $20 a child. Multiple child discounts are available. Emphasis will be on safety and proper riding technique. To register and reserve ride time, call Karen Montieth at 276-3088.

4:p.m. The Boys and Girls Club will host an club buck auction in the Gym at the club until 5 p.m. Members who earned Club bucks can bid on toys, games and other items. The auction will be conducted by a profession auctioneer and parents can join their children.
Saturday, Jan. 29
